Army struts Stryker’s stuff

GRAFENWOHR, Germany - The U.S. Army got a chance to show off its Stryker armored personnel carrier this week to delegates from the 56-member Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

VILSECK, Germany - Shops, bars and restaurants here are bracing themselves for hard times while 3,500 soldiers from the 2nd Cavalry (Stryker) Regiment are in Iraq.

2nd Cavalry will rehearse at Hohenfels for mission in Iraq

VILSECK, Germany - The 2nd Cavalry (Stryker) Regiment will conduct a mission rehearsal exercise in June at Hohenfels’ Joint Multinational Readiness Center to prepare troops for deployment to Iraq in August.

WASHINGTON, May 8 - The Pentagon said Tuesday that it had informed an additional 35,000 soldiers that they were likely to be heading to Iraq by December, a move that would allow the Army to maintain heightened American troop levels into next year.
