Soldiers support Iraqi Security Forces during MEDCAP

Sgt. Charles Teal (right) and Staff Sgt. Steve Miller, read a journal that was left inside an office in Joint Security Station Tharwa 1 April 17. Teal, a native of Georgetown, Ohio, and Miller, from Orange, Calif., serve with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, which is attached to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National-Division – Baghdad. The Soldiers from HHC, 1st Squadron, 2nd SCR, were supporting a Medical Civil Action Program in Tharwa 1 in which Iraqi Army and civilian doctors provided medical evaluation to visitors and issued first aid and personal hygiene supplies to the people who live in the southern portion of the Sadr City district of Baghdad.
