On Thursday, April 9, 2009, in the Old Executive Office Building’s Indian Treaty Room, 71st Colonel of the Regiment, Major General Terry A. Wolff, attended his frocking ceremony in which he was presented his second star.
Hosting the ceremony and making the presentation was 70th Colonel of the Regiment, Lieutenant General Douglas E. Lute.
MG Wolff and LG Lute were among the eight Colonels of the Regiment that gathered together for the 2007 2d Cavalry Association reunion.
