2SCR Soldier dies from illness

VILSECK, Germany – (22 April, 2009) – Spc. William Sullivan II, 23, from Oceanside, Ca. was assigned to H Company, 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment stationed in Vilseck, Germany. Spc. Sullivan died Wednesday in a hospital in Hannover Germany from complications due to acute respiratory syndrome.

Sullivan had been battling his illness for several months. Sullivan is survived by his mother and father.

    May you RIP Sully… I didnt get to meet you i arrived a few days before you got sick… But i still remember you getting on the web cam when CJ was talking to me and doing your classic smile and waving… I wont ever forget that… You are trully Missed!!!

    Miss you pal. It was a pleasure having you as a friend and as a brother. Never had a down day with that smile. I remember when you went to the board i offered to super glue your lips so you wouldn’t smile at the board lol. Miss you buddy.
