At 1130 hours, 16 February 2010, 4th Squadron, 2d Stryker Cavalry Regiment will conduct an Assumption of Command Ceremony at Vilseck Memorial Gymnasium, Rose Barracks, Vilseck Germany.
Taking the reigns of Saber Squadron will be LTC Andrew Green, a Seattle University graduate who hails from Washington State. LTC Green is currently assigned as the LCC XO in Heidelberg. He has a solid background in Armor with assignments such as Platoon Leader, 1-69 AR and 2-70 AR (Germany); Company Commander, 1-64 AR (Ft. Stewart); Battalion XO, 1-12 CAV (Ft. Hood); Joint Planner, EUCOM.
LTC Green will be replacing LTC Chris Boyle. LTC Boyle was forced to relinquish command of Saber Squadron recently due to medical reasons and is currently undergoing treatment at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. We hope to see you back in the saddle soon, Chris.
