Winner of 2d Cav Association Scholarship Announced

The 2d Cavalry Association announced the winner of its 2010 Annual Scholarship.

The winner, Kimberly Morris, will receive an award of $2,500 toward the cost of tuition for the 2010-2011 academic year. Ms. Morris will be attending Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA. Kimberly is the daughter of CSM Mark Morris the Regimental Command Sergeant Major

The 2d Cavalry Association provides an annual scholarship to a deserving student who is a member of the 2d Cavalry Community. Applicants must be attending a college or university and apply for the scholarship by writing an original paper on specified subjects. All members of the 2d Cavalry Association, the active Regiment, and their dependents, are eligible to apply. The competition is conducted annually in the spring of each year.
